The group meets every Thursday morning from 10-12 at Southill Junior School grounds, providing a welcoming space for men over 18 from the city’s south side. Members take part in a variety of activities and educational courses, including carpentry, personal development, health and well-being, drama, darts, pitch and putt, and photography. Southside Womens Shed
Shed is a welcoming space where women can connect, relax, and enjoy a break from their daily roles. Whether you're looking to chat, laugh, or take part in activities like art and woodwork, Shed offers a supportive environment where you can be yourself. It's a safe place to vent, seek advice, and even share a few tears without judgment.
We also engage in community projects, helping to improve spaces in Southill by painting or creating flower boxes for tidy towns. Together, we encourage each other to try new things and discuss the needs of both our group and the wider community.

Knit and natter
Knit & Natters is a group of local community women that enjoy crochet and knitting together. This group was started over a year ago and runs every week. This private group is a welcome sight to the FRC each Wednesday afternoon as the staff here love hearing the sound of laughter echoing throughout the building.Started as a way to help each other on wool work projects they have become a very close "knit" group over time and the mix of ages in the group
is fantastic!
