Gambling Support Service
What is it?
It’s a free and confidential counselling service designed to support individuals and families affected by gambling addiction.
The service is part of a national initiative funded by the Gambling Awareness Trust and is one of 20 similar programs across Ireland.
How can it help?
It’s for anyone impacted by gambling — whether you're struggling with gambling yourself or you're a loved one affected by someone else’s gambling habits. The service is inclusive, recognizing that gambling affects people of all genders and backgrounds.
Who is it for?
One-on-one counselling with trained professionals. Support for families and loved ones, not just the individual gambler. Awareness and education about the signs of gambling addiction — like increasing bets, secrecy around finances, or chasing losses. Access to a wider network of psychotherapists through the Family Resource Centre system.
